Diploma Course in Electronics (Robotics) affliated to Directorate of Technical Education (DOTE), Chennai, Tamil Nadu approved by All India council for Technical Education (AICTE) was started in year 2005 as a self financing program. This program develop technicians in the field of Robotics and Automation. The students are exposed to specialized labs like Robotics Lab, Process control Lab, Hydraulic and Pneumatic Lab with PLC and simulation software, CNC lab with simulation software and CNC Lathe and CNC milling machine. Our robotics lab is equipped with robot and simulation software to fulfill industrial needs. We have the students exposed to traditional labs like Electrical Circuits and Machines Lab, Electronics devices and Circuits Lab, Microcontroller Lab and workshop.

Welcome to the Department of Electronics(Robotics) there is going to be huge demand for engineers in the emerging area of Technology. Robotics and Automation is one such emerging field. Hence the curriculum of this diploma program gives emphasis on basis of Robotics, Robotics Programming, Sensors and Actuators used in Robotics and Automation Electrical system, Electronics, Hydraulics and Pneumatics, PLC and PIC.
The department has well qualified faculty members in all technical fields such as Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Computer and well equipped laboratories to impart the required technical skills in students. Expert lectures and inplant training also conducted for the students so that they became aware of recent trends in Industry.
They are constantly encouraged to participate in various co-circular activities like Technical symposium, Quiz, and project exhibitions and extra – curricular activities.
The department tunes its students well prepared to face this challenging world and aspires for their bright future in life.

Civil Engineering Department was established in the year 1959 with a sanctioned strength of 30 students. Now it has a strength of 72 students.
The infrastructure facilities in the department facilitate effective teaching-learning process. Sophisticated instruments are available in laboratories such as, Total Station, GPS, UTM of 1000 KN capacity etc. Students are being exposed to latest developments in construction technology and trained to overcome the practical difficulties in the field. They are given hands-on training in AutoCAD and STAAD.
